“I’d been experiencing constant agony in my right knee - it was really affecting my sleep and if I ever needed to get up in the night to visit the bathroom, the pain would make it almost impossible. At the time, I was also working as a chef as part of the catering team in a busy school – an active job, requiring me to be on my feet for hours at a time.
